School project in pairs: Imagine the social hub of a Mercure hotel for the Accor hotel 2023 competition

Le but était de placer les matériaux locaux et la durabilité au centre de notre proposition. Il fallait imaginer un espace en fonction d'un plan donné et l'implanter dans le bâtiment de notre choix, dans la ville de notre choix : ici, nous avons choisi New York.

The aim was to place local materials and sustainability at the center of our proposal. We had to imagine a space according to a given plan and set it up in the building of our choice, in the city of our choice: here, we chose New York.

Jouer avec les matériaux typiques de New York et leurs substitutions était notre concept. C'est aussi pour cela que nous voulions une pièce centrale qui se prolonge à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur.

Playing with local New York materials and their substitutes was our concept. This is also why we wanted a central piece that extends inside and out.
